Citrix Installation

Please begin by clicking here to download Citrix. Use the following instructions to install and configure the program to Emerge’s specifications.

Installation

1. Double click on the install file. Click Next on the first screen.

2. Accept the license agreement and click Next.

3. Change the installation features. Click on Web Client and Program Neighborhood Agent to select Entire feature will be unavailable. Your screens should look like the following. When you have finished click Next.

Continue to hit Next for the next five screens until you see the following screen. Then hit Finish.

You have now finished the installation of Citrix. Please continue to the follow the directions in order to configure Citrix to connect to the Emerge Office network.

Configuration

1. Find theCitrixProgramNeighborhoodIcon icon on your desktop and double click to open it.

If you do not see the following screens, skip these steps until you see your screen.

2. Hit cancel if this image appears.

3. Open Application Set Manager.

4. Open Custom ICA Connections.

5. Open Add ICA Connection.

6. Change type of connection to Wide Area Network.

7. Enter the following information so your screen looks the same as this.

8. Change your encryption level to 128 Bit.

9. Hit Next on the following screen and then change your display options so the ICA Client fits on your screen (if you do not know which settings to choose use the settings from the image below).

10. Click Next until you reach Finish and you are just a few steps away from using Citrix.

11. To make using Citrix easier you can move the Emerge Office icon to the desktop by clicking and dragging it. EmergeOfficeIcon

12. Double click the Emerge Office icon to open Citrix and you should see the following and be able to login.

Congratulations! You have successfully installed and configured Citrix to work with Emerge’s network. If you are locked out of the system you must contact Verna Urso (vurso@emergeinc.org).
