Day Services

The Emerge Day Program provides services to individuals who are older and no longer wish to work, or are more severely disabled and are not ready to work. Approximately 100 individuals are served in meaningful day services that are based in Linthicum. The day program is committed to community integration, skill acquisition and recreational activities. Individuals attending the program go into the community on a routine basis attending events such as museums, libraries, concerts, Lexington Market, picnics, parks and many other activities. They enjoy many opportunities learning how to socialize, communicate and improve basic activities of daily living and personal care skills. A typical day at the program will include several of the following activities: socialization, musical activities, community based activities, cooking, art therapy, massage therapy and parties.
