Emerge, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Columbia, Maryland focused on serving individuals with developmental, physical and mental health disabilities. Emerge provides supported living, residential, day, pre-employment, and employment services to over 450 individuals in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George's counties.
Founded in 1976, the agency is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Marylanders with Disabilities through its unique multi-service structure and no discharge commitment. Emerge's demonstrated track record of success serving individuals with multiple disabilities and complex challenges prove it is one of the best agencies in Maryland.
Due to the individualized services that are developed for each person served, Emerge today is recognized throughout the region as an organization that will accept and benefit individuals with the most severe disabilities and complex personal situations, many of whom are rejected from other agencies.
